Shaping

At the heart of every ceramic creation lies the shaping process. Our artisans begin by carefully molding the clay into the desired form, whether it’s a delicate vase, a sturdy dinner plate, or a decorative sculpture. Each piece is shaped with precision and attention to detail, ensuring its structural integrity and aesthetic appeal

Drying

Once shaped, the ceramic pieces undergo a drying process to remove excess moisture and solidify their forms. This critical step requires patience and expertise to prevent cracking or warping. Our artisan monitors the drying process closely, adjusting conditions as needed to achieve the perfect balance

Firing

Next comes the firing- the transformative stage where the clay is hardneded into its final ceramic form. Each piece reach temperature upwards of 1000 C, allowing the ceramic piece to undergo vitrification, a process that strengthens and stabilizes the material. The Firing process imbues each piece with durability and resilience, ensuring it withstands the test of time. You have now what it being called “Terracotta”

Glazing

After the initial firing, select pieces undergo a glazing process to add color, texture, and protection. Our Artisan meticulously apply glazes by hand, layering colors and finishes to achieve the desired aesthetic. The glazing process requires a delicate touch and eye for detail, as even subtle variations can dramatically impact the final appearance of the piece

Final Firing

Once glazed, the ceramic pieces undergo a final firing to set the colors and finishes permanently. This firing process further enhances the beauty and durability of the pieces, locking in the glazes and ensuring they remain vibrant and lustrous for years to come
