Ingredients

200 gr ground beef

650 gr lasagna sheets

150 gr bechamel sauce

250 gr tomato sauce

200 gr grated cheese

160 gr smoked cooked ham

Method

Prepare the meatballs

Form small meatballs (1 cm diameter) with ground beef and fry them quickly in plenty of oil

Sauces

Prepare the tomato sauce and bechamel sauce, then let them cool

Layering

spread tomato sauce in a 16 cm terracotta dish

Place a circular lasagna sheet, cover with tomato sauce, bechamel, grated cheese, and slices of smoked ham

Repeat for the the second and third layers, adding meatballs as you go

Baking

Cover with foil and bake at 180 C (350 F) in a fan oven for about 20 minutes

Remove the foil and bake at 200 C (400 F) to brown the top

Garnish with basil leaves before serving
